A licensed architect with 10 years experience, Doug has demonstrated a long-standing commitment to nurturing the arts in the Charlotte region. His involvement with ArtPop Street Gallery, an organization known for transforming urban spaces with vibrant public art, underscores his passion for making art accessible to the community. He shares our mission of designing inspiring places and is passionate about the impact thoughtfully curated spaces can have on the community. Doug believes in the power of design and creating environments that foster connection, creativity, and a sense of belonging.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Along with his passion for the arts, Doug is focused on sustainable design. His involvement with the US Green Building Council (USGBC) of the Carolinas has immersed him in certification and design standards, new technologies, and innovative practices that promote environmental sustainability. Blending artistic vision with sustainable principles, Doug adds to our team as we create spaces that are both beautiful and environmentally responsible.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Doug earned his Bachelor\u2019s degree from the University of South Carolina before getting his Masters in Architecture from the University of North Carolina Charlotte. \u201cI am driven by a desire for my work to have the greatest impact possible and truly help the people it\u2019s designed for,\u201d said Doug Broome, \u201cI am excited to work for a firm that is established in my hometown of Columbia, South Carolina and to help the Charlotte studio grow and flourish in the area where I chose to raise my children.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
