This collaborative effort engaged 900+ community members in envisioning a city that is not just scenic but also dynamic and livable. Residents voiced aspirations for improved connectivity to the Waccamaw River, expanded public green spaces, elevated public art, and more opportunities for both private investment and community celebrations. Conway didn\u2019t hesitate to take action. The city immediately began implementing key projects, such as The Terrace, a new public space hosting movies, live music, and providing a relaxing spot for residents. The City of Conway and its residents embraced the idea of a thriving downtown that\u2019s \u201cbetter than a Hallmark movie\u201d\u2014a vibrant place filled with soul.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Our team turned the city\u2019s vision into a framework with short- and long-term projects that will enhance the downtown and riverfront, leverage public resources with private opportunities, build community support, and establish guiding principles to ensure all revitalization efforts reflect the community\u2019s values.
