By extending Williams Street along the river\u2019s edge, the project lays the groundwork for future greenways, parks, and river-oriented amenities &#8211; creating a vibrant, accessible riverfront for residents, students, and visitors alike.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Reconnecting the City to Its Rivers<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>For decades, Columbia\u2019s rivers have been one of its greatest natural assets, yet largely inaccessible from downtown. This project directly addresses that challenge by opening seven and a half acres of underutilized riverfront land and establishing the infrastructure needed to support public spaces, recreation, and long-term development on higher ground.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">A Collaborative Civic Vision<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Working alongside Field Operations and the City of Columbia, BOUDREAUX is excited to contribute to a project providing public engagement and architecture services. This effort prioritizes public access, environmental stewardship, and long-term community benefit.
