BOUDREAUX opens a Charlotte Studio

BOUDREAUX announces the opening of a new studio in Charlotte, North Carolina. Since 1976, the firm has had a strong reputation as a dynamic, socially responsible firm committed to excellence in architecture, planning, interiors, and historic preservation.

Having just celebrated their 46th anniversary in South Carolina, BOUDREAUX has designed several major projects throughout the Carolinas including the University of South Carolina’s Campus Village, Mountains to Midlands Girl Scout Leadership Center, Christ the King High School in Huntersville, NC, and the South Carolina State Credit Union Headquarters.

President Heather Mitchell said, “As we considered the possibility of launching a Charlotte studio, everyone we talked to and every aspect we considered said YES! It is with tremendous excitement that we now serve our region from two locations with talent from those two thriving cities.”

The firm’s Charlotte studio will work in tandem with the Columbia studio covering a shared region. The new studio is being managed by long-time principal David Wiesendanger. “BOUDREAUX has enjoyed working with clients throughout the Carolinas for so long, Charlotte was a natural next step for our us. We look forward to continuing to bring our unique collaboration focused design perspective to the region and adding talented new Charlotte based designers to our team,” said Wiesendanger.

With an influx of talent from the Charlotte area, and some seasoned BOUDREAUX architects – the new studio will produce design work that exemplifies innovative architecture and continues to serve the firm’s mission to cultivate relationships, design inspiring places, and enrich communities.
