Celebrating Jehovah Missionary Baptist Church’s New Sanctuary
Jehovah Missionary Baptist Church (JMBC) proudly announced the completion of its new sanctuary on Easter Sunday, a significant milestone in the church’s mission to serve as an inspirational neighborhood center. Designed by BOUDREAUX, the new facility embodies the church’s vision of building healthy families, church, and community.
The sanctuary seats 700 congregants and provides a modern space for worship while honoring the church’s rich history. A notable feature is the entry stained glass window, relocated from the previous church lobby, symbolizing the continuity of tradition within a contemporary setting.
In addition to the main worship area, the new facilities include expanded spaces for the growing music ministry, ample classrooms for church school, and administrative offices for clergy and staff. The design emphasizes efficiency and purposeful organization, ensuring that each space supports the church’s diverse ministries.
The site planning accommodates future expansion, maintaining cohesion with existing campus structures. The exterior materials and color palette were carefully selected to complement other buildings on the campus, reinforcing a unified aesthetic.
The project was realized through a design-build delivery method in collaboration with Construction Dynamics, Inc., ensuring a streamlined process from conception to completion.
BOUDREAUX is honored to have partnered with JMBC on this transformative project, contributing to the church’s enduring legacy in the South Sumter community
