Richland Library Leading the Way in Keeping Libraries Relevant
“Eye On America”, an evening news segment on CBS recently featured Columbia’s own Richland Library for being a leader in keeping libraries relevant. Providing maker spaces, production labs, and even their “library of things” available to be checked out, Richland Library more than a place for books– it has become a community center. With the rise of e-books and streaming services the uses and needs of a public library have shifted to facilitate becoming a hub of opportunities.
We are so proud to have been a part of Richland Library’s journey and are grateful for projects like this that allow us to live our mission statement in enriching communities.
