We were thrilled to participate in NAWIC’s 2022 Kids Construction Discovery & Awareness Day.

NAWIC Columbia, SC, Chapter #113 is proud to announce the 3rd Annual “Construction Kids Discovery and Awareness Day.” The event is slated to take place on the grounds of Lexington Technology Center at 2421 Augusta Hwy., Lexington, SC, on Saturday, April 30, 2022, with gates opening at 9:00am.

We encourage children, teenagers and families to participate. Event facilitators and sponsors will provide a safe learning environment with demonstrations and hands-on experience. “Construction Kids” of all ages will have the opportunity to climb on-board a heavy piece of equipment or engage in construction-industry informational sessions. Discover the power that lies within you to change the landscape of your future by considering a career in the construction industry.

The “Kids Zone” is sure to thrill our enthusiastic youngsters with games, a bounce house, face painting and balloon animals. Food trucks will be onsite to purchase from and free water & popcorn will also be given out.
